Long-Term Care Trust Act Passes Into Law

Thanks to diligent efforts by the Washingtonians for a Responsible Future coalition, Washington State became first in the nation to create a public option for long-term care when the Long-Term Care Trust Act passed into law earlier this year.

Governor Inslee signed the bill on Monday, May 13th in Olympia as a crowd of onlookers held up one finger to symbolize the achievement of Washington being first in the nation to support a public option for long-term care.
